Mutual Feelings
Happy Fri-yay! Onwards to more pregnancy comics from 2018: if the Snoogle was alive, I’m sure it would’ve liked my husband more than me.
Carb Loading
After a holiday break and job change, I’m back to making comics! I’m excited to make this my personal project focus for 2021, so I’ll be posting every Friday from now on.
This comic is based on a true story from when I was pregnant a couple years ago. My friend at work learned to bake bread (before the pandemic made it cool) and let me tell you: my husband only got the scraps by the time I made it home.
Ohana
There are not enough panels to depict the love and support we were given during my pregnancy (and beyond!). The enthusiasm for our beanie baby was palpable. We are forever thankful to have such amazing people in our lives, and we know our child will be better for it.
In or Out?
As a proud innie, I was horrified when I learned that pregnancy converts you to an outie. Maybe one day, I’ll be able to go back…
Baby Bump
I’m just a late bloomer.
First Kick
For awhile during the 2nd trimester, I couldn’t tell if the baby was kicking. “It could be just gas,” I told myself. Then that night of the first REAL kick, I fully understood my body was not my own.
Truth Bomb
I was always laying the truth bombs on my hubby during the pregnancy.
My Butler
My husband took such great care of me during my pregnancy. Everyone needs a partner like him when they’re pregnant. <3
Second Trimester
There was this expectation that the nausea and tiredness would hard stop the moment I hit the 2nd trimester. Instead, it was a gradual receding of symptoms that by my 16th week, I was feeling good enough to attempt running again. Running has always been one of my stress relievers; I was SO happy to have it back in my life, no matter how slow I ran.
