The baby was getting bigger and bigger, and my poor bladder couldn’t handle all the pressure. I was surprised to be this sleep-deprived before the baby was even born.

For Science!
Instead of the classic “Will it blend?” question, I posed the question: “Can I eat it?”
Kids, don’t try this at home.
Gestational Diabetes Pro
I was starting to get the hang of the third trimester and finding ways to cope with my gestational diabetes. If I were to do it over again, I would’ve researched keto recipes earlier. Nut flours were a GAME CHANGER.
Birth Class
A month before our baby was born, we attended a birthing class. We learned a lot in our 2 day session, but the biggest realization was how lucky we were to have been blessed with a child at all.
Third Trimester Sickness
Right after our Florida trip, I got super sick. I was coughing up buckets of phlegm. The coughing got so bad that I threw out my back, all while being in the third trimester. It was a pretty miserable time, and I know it must’ve been hard to watch it from the sidelines as the partner.
Florida Trip
Florida was our last trip before our baby arrived. It was such a great and relaxing trip, thanks to my in-laws who were excellent hosts.
Dog-call
My webcomic isn’t ALWAYS about babies…sometimes it’s about fur babies.
There won’t be a new comic for the next few weeks because I’m going on vacation! Enjoy the rest of summer, everyone!
Trapped
My husband and I decided to get some home renovations done a couple months before the baby was due. Because the majority of the house was being worked on, we were confined to the guest bedroom downstairs surrounded by all our furniture, piles of clothes, and other stuff. It was very claustrophobic and not quite how I imagined I’d spend my 3rd trimester.
Weeks in Comparison
It took awhile before I could feel the baby move when I was pregnant. But by the third trimester, there wasn’t a moment the baby didn’t remind me he was there.
Good Life, Good Boy
My dog didn’t see it coming.
